The day by day activities of Tyler, Ty, and Michele while visiting Childhood Friend Chris Knight and his wonderful family in Los Angeles during Spring Break 2003.

  1. Saturday - Kay drove Ty, Michele, & I to Phila Int'l. Airport for vacation in LA. AA Flight 846 ETD 8:00 AM to O'hare. ETA LAX is 1:30 PM. I brought $220 cash. In LA, we rented a red Mustang, got to Chris's at 4, dinner at Buca Di Beppo with Chris, Rosanne & Heather.

  2. Sunday - Chris took us thru Malibu with lunch at Gladstones Restaurant, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and the LARW in his BMW. Rosanne made Pot Roast for dinner - very good.

  3. Monday - After visiting the Galleria Mall (which isn't a Mall anymore) the kids & I went to San Diego - rained VERY hard. Lunch at Charlie's by the Sea. We watched "Riding in Cars With Boys" with Chris & Rosanne, better than I thought it would be.

  4. Tuesday - After visiting Topenga Mall, the kids & I went to Santa Barbara - beautiful!

  5. Wednesday - The kids & I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain - Coasters were sort of boring, except for Superman. Had Ice Cream with Chris, Rosanne, & Heather.

  6. Thursday - The kids & I went to Rodeo Drive, then the Beverly Hilton for lunch with Arjen. At 6 PM, I jammed with Chris. Later, Chris came down and we had Ice Cream.

  7. Friday - The kids & I went to USC until 3 PM. We tried to go to Melrose Ave & LeBrea, but traffic got too heavy. We checked inth the LAX Holiday Inn, returned the Mustang, had dinner in the hotel.

  8. Saturday - The kids & I flew back home via Dallas. Took a cab home, arrived at 9:40 PM. What an incredibly great time.
